drill stand while tank already setup

Hey guys,

I just wanted to get a little bit of experience from fellow reefers. I have always drilled my stands as necessary before I had everything setup.

Unfortunately, I am trying to organize My sump area better and it's near impossible without drilling my stand with a hole into a side . probably do a 1" circular hole. I just don't want to have the Damn thing break on me and I f myself.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've drilled a stand while a 400g tank was running above me.

i just took out a whole panel with 180 filled just resupported it from the inside with 2X4 around where I cut it open
