rowa phos and vodka when I can be bothered! LOL
My vodka schedule is 1 shot for the fish... 2 shots for me! Then repeat til the colors improve on the test or you pass out! LOL!
Seriously I dose 15 ml a day when I do dose but its a slow ramp up process I started with 5ml a day for a week then 7ml, 10ml, 13ml, 15ml and once the po4 is too low to be recorded then that's your ml level to maintain. You have to find the right amount for your amount of gal and bio load.

in my rodi unit i have a single stage canister, i use BRS GFO in it (just like you do with the DI resin) but i use the gfo after the DI to eliminate any remaining po4 that comes out of my water supply. it has helped drastically.. but this is bc i have high po4 in my supply water, if you test your water out of the rodi unit and have 0.00 po4 your good, mine was 0.12 out of the unit 0.38 into the unit and once i made new salt i was at 0.16 so my water going right into my ato was delivering 0.12 in my top off water, so now its 0.00 when i make my salt(esv) its only 0.04 which is eliminated with my skimmer drip.. as well as the consentrated po4 i had in my system form the constant supply of p04 added into my system over time..

hope that explains it better

Motortrendz, when you refill your DI resin, do you pack it tightly? I was getting 0.15 after my DI and I read in another forum to make sure you pack your DI well. I refilled my DI and used the bottom of a glass cup to pack it and it got my PO4 down to 0.00. I know you said your tap water is high in PO4 but maybe you can give it a shot.

Brick, as I mentioned to Motor, if you don't recall packing in your DI resin tightly, try that and test for PO4. It doesn't hurt to have a GFO as a final stage but it may save you the need to buy one...like it did for me. Give it a shot.

Following along. I just changed out my DI resin (color changing type). I had extra left over which I throw away. I thought they gave me extra just in case. I didn't realize that I need to pack it tightly!
