Yeah from my research the D120 is the best bang for the buck right now and the best combo of lights for full spectrum.
Also back to the OP. It could take several months too for your corals to fully acclimate once you get the dimming where they need to be.
I have the evergrow it2040 and love them..I made the switch from metal halides to LEDs and I thought the same as everyone else(that LEDs suck)until I gave it time for the corals to acclimate to the huge difference in lighting.this acclimation takes time ...roughly around a month or two depending on the corals.what I like the most about these ights are the fact that I don't need to hook them up to a controller due to the fact of the LCD display that I can change the intensity of the light from 1/2 to an hour increments and never have a need to touch it ever again,unlike the d120 dimmable that you have to manually change the intensity..I have the it 2040 over my mixed reef 34 solana for 6 months and ALL my corals are growing better and coloring up nicer than when I had metal halides.
