Yea, but are they any good? I normally don't just buy things like that, need the approval of my reefing community. I knew the D-120's were good, since a few on here are using them & I saw one personally.


Is anyone actually using them or knows of someone on here who has tried them and can vouch for them?


They are an interesting set though. They daisy chain them together in series. They look as if 2 on a 4" tank might just not be bright enough.

i dont no anyone. so i wouldn't be able to say yet. IMO i dont think so tho lol. that guys video he didnt have anything in his tank nor had it for a while so he cant say anything about a review as well. so i guess it would be a hit or miss. i dont think you should tho. but if you doo let us know.

They are called d2040 but they arent on their site yet. Its the same case as it2040. Same pcb and same led.

Its a different case. The pots are in the front and power cords in the back. Supposedly better dimming pots too.

I rather spend the extra 100 for the it2040 or if I had a bigger tank an it2080...set it and forget it!
I love my it2040 and so does my corals!
