E you looking to sell your radion? lol. I put on my 6bulb sunpower right now. Gonna try it out for a few weeks and see the difference. Might go back to it and sell my radion.

Whispers: I used to run a phosban reactor pump in the 3rd chamber to help with the flow. Now I run my return straight into the first chamber so it flows out automatically.

I'm thinking about it man. We'll see what tank I end up with. How's your tank coming along Perry?

Ask Reefoman.

Mark got back to me yesterday and said he's booked until June! Good for him though, that's great to see good dudes that are busy with reef-related work.

My new "problem" is figuring out whether to go high end tank (Elos or Marks custom) with mid-grade equipment or medium grade tank (Deep blue 57 or 75 rimless, or possibly 80 gallon 48x24x16) and higher end equipment. :).

Or high-end everything with a water-in-tank date of 2015 :lol2:

well i will say this, lol how tanks have you had in two year's, one thing if going elos and you decide to switch out again you will lose a ton of $

Lol. 2years? How about in the past 6 years? :lol2: ....I'm trying to get one tank to keep for a while, and I don't want to cut corners this time around. Recently, (hopefully at least... nothing is guaranteed obviously) things have become more stable financially for me, and we are about to buy the house we're in. I've had to make significant compromises on past tanks, so hopefully this tank will be different.

I guess it's easier to upgrade your mid-grade equipment piece by piece later on as finances afford than it would be to upgrade a tank. You'd probably take less of a hit selling the equipment on the used market too. Just my opinion.

got a midi now (36g), had a mini (20g) prior. beautiful tank, if youfind one used for a decent price jump on it as they are built like a tank andwill last for 10+ years.
my main complaint with both models is the sump layout.

I can't believe more people have not said anything about their stand and their sump (which sucks). The elos I helped set up was a 6 foot 120 or something. The sump is only like 20-30 gallons, the stand has a wall in the middle so you can't put a large tank in there. I still don't get why people are so in love with this "system". I admit the tank is nice because it's rimless but........ that's about as far as I will go. All the gadgets that come with it like the auto top of, is just a waste of space in the sump. Maybe I'm a hands on guy but I think if you did everything yourself, you can get a much better quality "system"
