That's a disconnect alarm. Power it down, align the wet and dry side and reconnect power to the unit

Reach inside the tank, grab the inner unit and gently move it up, down, left or right. It doesn't take much movement in either axis to "disconnect" the magnetic coupling.
1. One of my dwarf nerites made it past the foam cone and jammed the impeller. This caused it to stop spinning and immediately eject from inside the tank (must be some kind of fail-safe which prevents a high power current situation). The fix here was obvious.
2. How thick is your glass? Are you using the spacer disc?
Dumb question:last. Does the impeller spin EASILY (it should) when you try to turn it with your finger?
which model is it? ..do you have the manual?
Does the dry side spin while not in magnetic contact with the wet side? If so then it has to be a spacing issue or improper allignment.
I have the spacer on and it's align I'm about to stuff my face in the tank lol
but if you take the dry side off does it spin?
