You buy corals fish and inverts from vendors on here and get to know meet other members here also and have a good time. Get to learn about peoples sets up and all.

Coral & fish auction, raffles (tons of reef related prizes), presentations by well respected speakers, lunch, meeting other reefers (expanding your support group), vendors bring thousands of frags, drygoods and inverts. You might even do some 'frag swapping'!!
