Sure.

This is a system for people to exchange/sell frags direct to one another without using the marketplace and normal threads.

You go to:

http://www.manhattanreefs.com/forum/frags.php

Here you will see a list of the frags currently available. You can reserve them by clicking the reserve option on the right. This will send a message to the owner asking them to approve the sale. Once approved you are to coordinate a time to meet and exchange the coral/money.

Not much to it really. Any ideas would be appreciated.

i wouldnt say auction because once you reserve it for the price that is listed you buy it. end of that transaction no 1 else will be reserving unless the seller has more then 1 of the same item. its more of a selling database then an auction.

How would I find that section if I do not have the link? I could not find it anywhere.

Add the date when the coral was posted. Good thing is your locked in once you click reserve. Hopefully no one flakes out on something they want.

This is a great idea!

I would diffidently add a date posted column, then allow sorting by column. If people added a coral type (SPS, LPS, Softy) to the beginning of their descriptions then others could use the sorting feature for what their after.

Is there enough room in the description column to add pick up terms? location, willing to ship etc?
