hey Kris

I spent a good deal of time on my tank today and yesterday.
after I got the sps back into the tank I looked at old pics of them,
they really have browned out :(

it takes light and clean water.
I'm tempted to say wtf and get some new Mh's to help them along,
maybe some nice 400's on each end ;) that would be sweet. most likely it will be plain old 250's.

sorry to hear they browned out but with the way your stuff grows you'll have color bac in no time and HUGE colonies in even less...heh

I don't know about huge colonies, I'll be happy with the color back.

Dave, I'm not sure about this but i think those chillers have trouble pulling down the tank temp if the ambient temp is high. I know your basement does not get hot, so you should be fine. I looked into a larger version of those and I remember reading that they would not work for my application. they are energy efficiant so you should not see an increase in the e bill too much.
