i been busy all day with DIY as well. sold like 200 dollars worth of live rocks and now staring at my pretty 20 gallon. cant wait till my 75 is built tho.

cool, they are everywhere in my tank, next year it's pocilipora for everyone!

jose has the mother colony, it got to big for my tank. now he must have hundreds of babies all over, hehe.

turned on my Diatom filter at 12:00am, its amazing how much clearer the water is 2 hours later. it's like there is no water in the tank.

i knew you'd be back.

the diatom filter filters the water down to 1 micron (as much as your RO/DI most likely).
basically, there is a bag that is covered in a very fine powder and the water is forced through the powder so anything in the water too big to get through tight powder, will be left out.
try diatomfilter.com
the only issue that it is really a PITA to set up.

Probably a pain for the wallet to right...yeah i had to come back.....hmmm.....i just finished up filling my tank about an hour ago. Love the fact that i have a drilled tank now..makes life for my brain so much easier...also plumbed today...pray for me to have no leaks..air leaks..hell any kind or leaks.
