Sooo tired.

Had a glitch with the sound computer during the show and it tensed me up for the rest of the day. Trying to decompress but nothing is working. . .

Almost done with my light box though.

And my tank is looking pretty good!

what a luxury you have Jim, being able to take your time and move things into the new tank. no rubbermaid bins everywhere.

speaking of photos Kris, where are the new ones of your tank?

Well then hope your close to your bed! Not much goes on in here I thought I would find the meaning to life or something coming in here! Anybody have any wild tank ideas in mind? I am very interested in the different and unusual. Anyone else?

Different like custom shapes or locations. I have seen 2 I was impressed with so far. First was a in a buddy of mines house when we were kids. It was set into the side of there basement steps leading to the main floor. Triangle shaped bottom side was like 8' long and it was 6 1/2' tall and went like 2 1/2' back into the steps. All the plumbing neatly tucked away in the space under the stairs. The second was in LA at guys house. He had 3 cube tanks maybe 25-30 gallons each stacked but offset so they kind of twisted around. Wish i had more time to study that one they overflowed into each other.

Thanks. It's alright I'm always full of questions too. :D My favorite coral right now is...hmmm...can I say all of them?? Everything in the tank SPS wise is really new. The oldest piece being about 4-5 months old. One coral I want that I dont have is a Purple monster, a superman Danae, or a rainbow monti. I would give anything for one of those. All very nice looking IMO.

I'm in park slope. Where are you?

The same guy with the cubes has a little 2 foot wide river that runs throughout the ground floor from the pool and hot tub outside. If I had his cash I would build my own scuba reef in my basement! Just a 30x45x15' Oceanscape! Wonder what my electric bill would be then?

Im on the lower east side manhattan. What are some slow growing corals do u know? I would probably enjoy them more knowing they wont overgrow my little tank.

Hmm...usually anything thats hard to find is the slow growing stuff. Just buy small pieces and watch them grow. If they get out of hand just take the knife to them and frag em. If you want slow growing stay away from Green star polyps and xenia. Sometimes they just take over. Why not put zoa's in your tank. They have nice coral and tons of varieties. I have like 4 or 5 different types, none of which grow alarmingly fast.
