i have at least 20 wrasses and i'm having a hard time thinking of any of them having a real personality! They are not like some of my angels or tangs, that will "follow me around" begging for food, or trying to be in every picture i take.
i think you just need to pick one that you like, and is compatible with your aquarium and tankmates.

I LOVE my mystery wrasse, most active fish in the tank. I just picked up a nice Exquisite Wrasse yesterday from Knockout Aquatics, nice looking fish.

ok so i decided to go with the leopard wrasse cause im getting it from some one whos had it for almost a year so its used to tank life and food. its a male and i was curious that if i added a female what are the chances that it would learn how to eat by watching the male? idealy id like to have a pair. paolo if its that small i wouldnt do it. id lean more for 2" minimum, and like i said before make sure uve added all the fish u want first cause angels can be nasty to noobys

the leopard wrasse is a nice fish. I'm a fan of wrasse also, I got 2 of them in my 72 bow.
A adult richmonds wrasse and a black-backed wrasse. I have a deep sand bed for both of them to sleep in. The Richmonds wrasse has amazing color and is active while and the black-backed is a finicky eater and oblivious to other fishes in the tank. I have an open top with wrasse, firefish and gobies..never had any jumpers.

This can either be called 'luck', or 'so far...so good', but you are flirting with danger! "Murphy's Law" states that it WILL be you favorite or most expensive fish that jumps!

my australian super male scott's fairy wrasse!!!! RIP.....but his death was not in vain. after his tile floor surfing indecent, i had the canopy made for the dt. i've heard many jumping/splashing/even hitting the canopy itself but none made it pass the barrier.:wink1:
