ok so its about time i get a wrasse, and im not sure what to get...i originaly wanted to get a mystery wrasse, but idk im really liking the idea of a tonga leopard wrasse pair, how ever personality is a big thing for me so i want something that will be full of it! color is a big factor too!

Well....I was going to suggest a wrasse or two and then I read your stocking list in your signature line..you already have 16 fish in a 120 which has already pushed the envelope of intelligent stocking into another dimension...

IMO I'd quite while you are ahead :splitspin...or get a bigger tank...

Do you have a cover on there? If not, don't even consider a wrasse of any type. :bablefish

wrasse with the most personality?
I have at least 20 Wrasses and I'm having a hard time thinking of ANY of them having a real personality! They are not like some of my angels or tangs, that will "follow me around" begging for food, or trying to be in every picture I take.
I think you just need to pick one that you like, and is compatible with your aquarium and tankmates.

Love, love, love my mystery wrasse. She is hilarious and she is always out swimming around the tank. She's very curious--always the first to check out anything new in the thank. Just this week I saw her steal a piece of food from a shrimp and taunt everyone else in the tank with it. She is a big personality and right now she's the smallest fish in the tank (others are Chromis, Kauldren's Cards, Clownfish, Kole Tang). She weaves in and out of the rocks, gliding along and I love her eyes. She watches everything. Big, big fan of the mystery wrasse.

I'm looking for somthing different in color, I have yellow, and orange/red. I like the mystery cause it looks crazy! Lol leopards are cool cause I can get 2 females and one will turn male, which has a cool color. I like jimmys wrasse a lot, looks like it gets big!

I believe MOST wrasses can change from female to male...Leopards are NOT easy to keep alive...and the Radiant WILL get large.
For other colors, check out an exquisite wrasse, solar wr. or scotts fairy
