So, the mystery tang has been added to the DT, and it is starting to look more like a fowlr's tang, from the actual juvi's i have seen in the LFS around here. I could still be wrong but I'm hoping i'm not. The tang is around 2"s now and that white on the eye is the glare from the flash.

Fowleri does not have a solid white tail unfortunately.

Also the top fin should be yellow and you should see the horse shoe shape on the body just behind the gills.
Don't forget this tang is roughly 2's in length. The top fin has been getting more and more yellow everyday. And at this size they would not have the horseshoe shape on it yet. I'm basing the tang being a fowlrs from the 3-4" ones I saw this past week. Could be something else. Also the bottom fin has the bright blue on it like a fowlrs also.

No, the Horse shoe shape would be showing at that size, 2", and also the body would be lighter in color and the top fin would already be yellow. If you don't see the Horse Shoe shape on the fish then it's not a Fowleri.

Not sure why not, after all very small ones have been coming in for quite some time now.
Ok so the mystery is solved, It is a Bariene tang after all. Was hard to tell from when I first got the fish at less than an inch, Now at roughly 4"s the markings are starting to appear. The Black dot behind the eye really gives it away.
