Rick I tried kick ich and let me tell you that product is not cheap and it SUCKS IMO. Me and kathy had this topic of conversation last year. IDK about Herbtana so I cant say a word about it but like kathy said about some treatments contain hot pepper extracts which help but not cure the ich. Kent marine Rx-P is what I used and it helped.
day 4 of treatment when i got home they had a small amount of ich, was right before treatment, next day all clear again. this is the last week of treatment, i have been feeding with garlic as well. i also have a uv once treatment is done i will start running also
one thing i will say is i have been feeding garlic the whole time also, havent lost any fish since i started the kick ich and all fish have been clean of it did during the period have a few spots come back on some of the fish, but cleared right up, 2 weeks and all fish are alive, all corals look the same and have no ich on any of my fish. like stated i did feed garlic which more then likely helped also
no ich or atleast on my fish and all corals look good, i can't prove it worked, but as i had said before my fish were covered when i started the treatment and next day completely clean, in the 2 weeks of treatment at most the fish had gotten 2-3 spots of ich then was gone next day.
Awesome Rick, glad it worked out for you. I've heard a few people have had success with this product, which is why I was curious to follow your thread.
