I think he is doing that cuz he is hungry.. everytime I feed the tank he goes crazy for the food... im gonna get the clip and wait.. if I c he keeps doing it.. I will have to sell it...

UPDATE:
Hippo was going after my corals cuz he tough they produce mysis.. lol
I am feeding my corals at night now while hippo is sleeping or I feed my fish first so he is happy and he doesn’t bother my corals while they are eating
Regarding the zoas-- I realize he goes after them because they have some kind of algae on them.. you know when zoas are kind of melting .. then he nips at them..
BUT STILL.. He is still on probation.. Perhaps I will have to let it go later on

Perhaps try brushing any algae off of the zoas with a soft new small paint brush and then 'swoosh' the rest of the algae off in a bucket and see if he finds them less interesting.
Did you add the veggie clip with Nori on it also?

Hey I would feed at least once a day , or even twice a day,so make sure you have a good skimmer and you change your filter sock often , to get rid of the uneaten food that lies in the sock before it can be broken down.. other wise 86 him...

Ive read online that they become more aggresive when they are not fed a proper diet consiting of enough greens...you can also put some nori on a rock held on by a rubber band....however, when it is low, all crabs can get to it...the clip works better, but looks bad...or you can check my 120 thread, there was a cool mod to clip that someone posted...I had a yellow belly blue hippo that was to aggresive with my other fish and had to get rid of him, but the clip mod was a good idea, take a look

Hey if you have a clip from a MJ Jet... you can make one of these.

Just use a couple zip ties.
Then just put the clip in the back hole on the tank.
