As greedy as tangs are I am very surprise that you are unable to catch him with the net.

Did you put food in the net? That is how I catch all of my tangs. I've never had to take apart a tank to catch a tang.

By the way the other person that stated you should let him nip at the kenya tree ment no harm. Kenya do grow like weeds in our tanks. You will see this in a short time as it grows it begins dropping babies which in no time will be all over your tank.

I never heard of YT nipping on healthy Kenya Tree only when its dying they will nip on the coral. Is your Kenya Tree healthy? Can you take a picture of the kenya tree.

Same here I've never heard of that. My partner has three and they don't even bother with the kenya or colt trees

believe it or not my yt nip my sps and blue tang ate some of my zoas. after all it is a animal world they eat anything they can.

1 of my YT ate my feather dusters, my PT & Sailfin ate my Blueberry Gorgonian.;( And those don't grow back.
