Well, even though ocellaris clownfish in captivity will often host other things, these are their natural hosts:

Bubble Tip Anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor)
Magnificent Anemone (Ritteri Sea Anemone)
Giant Carpet Anemone
Saddle Carpet Anemone (Haddon's Sea Anemone)

They are most likely to host in these, but might end up "settling" for something else after some time.

If she is laying eggs you probably won't see her until the eggs rot which will take a few days. And since you do see the smaller clownfish i don't think they would have been fertilized so it would really hurt to try to find her in the tank.

I have 2 clowns. One is missing-the bigger of the two.

The same thing happened to my female true percular. But that was due to the constant fight between her and the female maroon clown. Now I have this lonely 2" beautiful true percular clown hanging out on the top corner of a 400g tank. Are you interested in having him?

Wouldnt I need two of the same type of clown? Mine is a Black & White Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris)
Yeah...my clown just hangs out at the top corner of my tank now...it sucks, like I have no fish.... Im getting 2 firefish(helfrichi or whatever it is) once my new cover is in place...

OH!!!!!!!!!!
Every once in a while(maybe 1 time per day) I here a clack, like something fell and hit the stand.....Ive looked at the new rocks(I have added 2, about 16 lbs in total) and there arent any holes in them, atleast not big holes, if a mantis did make its way into my tank, Ive noticed nothing gone except the 2 fish, 1 of which I found on floor, and the other is still MIA. So, I doubt its a mantis, or other hithhiker big enough to kill a fish. Ifound a few tiny starfish on one rock, about .5" across.
