Any tips on getting my clown to host my anemone?

Anemone has been in the tank a week, maybe 2 now and my clowns (well clown now, lost one over the weekend) won't go never it. Clown is about 2 inches and the bubble tip in maybe about 2.5 inches maybe 3.5 when she opens up completely and I know its not big enough for the clown to live in but I was hoping on a vist at least.

Any tips that don't involve removing them both from the tank or should I just wait it out?

If you decide to 'wait it out', don't hold your breath!, they might never go into the anemone... There is no guarantee that it will happen

so any tips on manipulating the hosting?
My 6 line shows more interest in the anemone...lol

clowns can be funny but be patient it will happen trying to force dont always work eather u stress the anenome etc trust am a pro in this deperment ive always had clowns there no such thing as a reefs tank with out clowns in it ...

There isn't no guarantee with clown hosting because even after putting them in a container with the anemone, when they are released, there is a strong possibility that they will go right back to the coral they were hosting before.....

it was wait & see for me. my clowns used to host my overflow box first, then to my duncan for a month, then to my gsp. they free swam for 6 mos before they settled on my rbta. also, certain clowns favor other types like the LTA, carpet, sebae, haddoni, etc. what type of clowns do you have?

Be careful what u wish for... Now i cant put my hands in the tank without getting attacked by the clowns..they've become very protective

Sun you're close to me...you're welcome to.borrow my "time out" box if you want to try...or you can leave your clown in my tank for a little ( at your own risk idk if my clowns will accept it) so my clowns can teach it...

It might sound weird but what i did was I took a picture of an anemone and a clownfish, printed it out, and taped to the side were the clownfish always hang out and buy the end of the day they were both in the anemone. Well actually they were in three of my anemones.

This worked for me.

What i did was i feed the anenome and not the clowns. So the clown was forced to go to anenome to eat. Try that.

tape a picture of a clownfish in and anemone , close the the nem so they can see it.

I know it sounds crazy but it works.
