Reef Reaper: Thank you for the offer, but I have someone who is going to raise them already. If things ever change I will get in touch with you.

Rickytsui: The eggs should hatch on Friday or Saturday, but as this is the first time, I must wait and see how long the incubation period is. Apparently it will always be the same schedule.

A perc and oc mix are a Percularis. I have read that a Black/White oc and a Perc are called Chocolate Percularis. I was thinking S'more Percularis (as that follows the precedent set by SA with their S'more, aka Black Ice, ocellaris clowns), as that follows the current trend and names. Or perhaps it should just be NYC Percularis (to avoid confusion amongst hobbiest). Apperently there is some debate as to how names should be derived.

But, we are putting the cart in front of the horse here. We can worry about names when we have a fish to name.

No. They spawned without real warning so I was not prepared. I plan on placing tiles in the spot where they just laid once the eggs hatch this weekend.

I must keep the eggs in water at all times when transferring them, correct?

Aww! That's too bad. I was quite sure they were hatching tonight.

Yea, you need to keep them in water all the time. However, you can also just make a larvae catcher to catch them next time. If your tank has lot of fish, I would use the siphon loop method.

Oh? I thought they already hatched last night. Once their eyes become silvery like that, they are ready to hatch. If you don't have a larvae catcher, just use a white cup and a flashlight shining into it and the larvae will swim into it.

Thank you, I will try the Light/cup trick. I am feeding these guys to me reefs, but next batch will be raised (I will be pacing tiles in tank this weekend after current eggs hatches.

I would say a third or less have the silver eyes...most do not have the defined eyes yet (It just appears that way b/c of my cameras Macro Mode).
