I have a RKL, and have two float switches in the tank. I cant seem to figure out how to program the floats properly.

I want the ATO to go on when the water level is below the first float, and have emergency shut off if water level goes above 2nd float switch.

Can someone talk me through this process?

I have two tanks, one tank is running 1st gen software, other tank is running 2nd gen software.

But, once we go over one tank, I can figure out other tank myself.

Few questions also for anyone:

Does it matter which wire (float switch-both wires are black)) connects to the RKL (wires are black and red)?

Thank you for your help!

You have two ways to do this..1) wire the 2 floats in series using the switch function and have bottom float trigger pump when open or closed(depends on what way you have the magnet in the float facing) and have the top float as a back up..OR..2) use the float to trigger a timer for x amount of time you want pump to run (ex 1 minute)( you will have to program a timer function for this)..this can be a pain in the rear to get right..I have mine like option 1 using a aqualifter pump..if you use a low voltage pump(aqualifter) use output 1 or 4 on pc4 they are relays..just keep it in a calm part of the sump to it does not click on and off to much...any more question look an the DA site under RKL/ATO..plenty of info there..good luck..
