I ordered two fixtures received one. My opinion is based on my experience on my 27" deep tank where the par level is greatly lower on the MaxSpect when compared to the pacific sun. Greenstreet1 in my first post I said I own the AI, MaxSpect, and Pacific Sun. I also gave my opinion on what I believe works best. As everyone else on Manhattan reefs we give our opinions based on our experience. My experience with the MaxSpect is not good. If you are happy with your fixture that's great and that is what you should post.

Yes I have a PAR meter and a LUX meter. MaxSpect says its good till about 24" and yes it gives a much lower PAR reading compared to the Pacific Sun 160w fixture and a lower PAR reading per wattage rating compared to the AI (the AI I believe is only 72W). IF anything the AI has the highest PAR reading but as I have large tanks I find the AI to be very directional light and does not give me the spread I would like however it works great for my holding tank.

I'm trying to find more info on the Reeftech LED's. The site http://reeftechled.com/ shows a release date of 12-15-10 but I can't find any further info about them. All other site's for Reeftech LED's are either dead or show no info and I don't see any youtube vids showing the lights. Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks.
