Wasn't thinking SPS. I have too many of those thingys :)

I see.. in that case, come on by, I have lots of LPS fragged up for the swap.

I can help setup a GB if it's allowed since we did a small one with 3 units.

Emps/Tony did a wonderful job on our last gb. We all paid separately, and it came to our doors separately. No distributing them by the organizer.

I have the g1 60w. Alan was right as it only has an on and off. The output seems really nice as i have it over a nanocube 12. I'll try and get pics up this weekend as i'm going to be doing some aquascaping. The tank isn't set up just yet.

I also own a pacsun led module and really like the customized controls I can make with that unit. I am not sure how the other units stack up against the pacsun but for the price of these maxspecs i don't think there would be any complaints. hope that helps!

maxspect 170w g2

ok i got my light today. the maxspec 170w g2, overall impression, pretty good. really light in weight, cant say it is built like a tank, none of the leds ive seen are. all lights on it's around bluish 15k ,antic nice shimmer to the blue, sps pop,{not fan} light is almost as bright as my 36" 8 bulb tek t5. color is close to same little bluer, and not complete tank coverage like t5. does have the shimmer as this isn't a sale point for me, shimmer makes my eye's cross ;) so on to my conclusion. spent $660 shipped, one problem 1 fan not working, have to mess with it tommorrow, well worth it for what i paid, wil switch violets out for daylight leds
