RO/DI Auto Shut off not working

I ordered a auto shut off kit from BRS i watched the video However once the float valve goes up the water stops but its still making waste waster (and i can hear it still going thru my filter) I thought at first i might have hooked it up wrong even after watching the video atleast 10 times but its not ( leaving carbon going IN to the white part and OUT to the membrane and where the DI is i have the check valve then going IN to the white part and then the tube going out into my container) could it be i have a faulty shut off valve or did i do something wrong?

ok same thing happened to myself and 2 other friends. The way we fixed it and decided what was OUR problem was the filters was clogged. I replaced the carbon and the sediment filter and it worked like a charm. If that works for you just keep that in mind when it is set up to check it every few months and make sure u are not wasting water.
