I believe it's wireless (remote controlled), individual LED sequencing, and weather effects like cloud sweeping across your tank, lightning streaks and zig zags across the fixture. Also a few more colors to give you full spectrum (red, green, etc..) Hope this helps.

I also like how the LEDs are arranged. The 5watt white LEDs in the center with the colors around it is a good way to go IMO.

However, the big players need to add violet and warm/neutral white LEDs.

Yeah, I was about to buy two Sol Blue units but the Vega Color is going to be released soon and for $100 more. I think it's a good deal. I'm gonna wait for a review before I buy though.

Yeah the AI Sol goes for $399 and the Vega Color will go for $499 from what I heard. I hope it's true. I'm very interested in getting two units. Same color variations as the Ecotech Radions and much cheaper plus almost the same features (except the syncing option to the Vortech pumps) but I can live with that.

Yeah I could cAre less about that feature, and I'm sure radions will go down in price now , but I'm not too crazy about those leds I love ai they are top notch with customer service as well so it's a no brainer if you ask me

I hear you bro, I'm not a fan of the thunderstorm or lightning feature either. AI's are great lights. I love the Sol Blue's and I expext the Vega to be even better.

I think they will be giving the radions a run for its $. I have 3 sol on my 100 gal rimless tank and love it.. I am also going to be getting the new Vegas my self.

I wouldnt say anything until they are in the consumers hands , i will absorb zero rumors until its been proven , cause one thing i do know is that radions are too costly and the power supply are abnormaly big !!!

AI users will say that AI is better and Radion users will say that Radions are better. This debate will go on forever. Im in between the 2 and tagging along. I will soon pull the trigger on one of them. Im still a Halide guy.

Exactly what we read about every day. All these debates, lol. Im pulling towards the Radion tho especially with this new TIR lens. My boy has 2 Radions and only bought one set of lens to compare the difference and all I have to say is WOW. I thought it was great before the lens upgrade. Major difference in coloration and brightness within his tank.
