What if they try to repair it and return it to me. How can I claim that I know better than they?

Quite simple IMHO, you paid for a *new* tank, not a broken and then <ahem> repaired tank. A broken tank is still a broken tank, whether it has some patchwork or not, it is still not a new tank. Furthermore, the tank was not even made within the material specifications that you laid out. The materials you specified would be the same as I would spec, in the same order, funny how those things work
IMO, the jury is still out on Chemcast GP. The mfg facility; Plastiglas de Mexico was designed by the same German engineers that built the Plex G plant in Mexico, using the same water bath technology so in theory - should be okay material. Problem is that the material has not been around long enough to confirm that it will behave (long term) in the same manner as the others in like roles. No one *really* knows qhat QC is like there.
BTW, don't let anyone tell you that this material is just as good as what you specified, doesn't matter if it is or isn't - it is not what you specified, period.
I'd like to think it should go well, I doubt there's any intention to send out bad stuff and <hopefully> every mfr wants their customers to be happy with their products and will do what it takes to resolve this without any hard feelings.
