Duke I feel your pain.;( My beautifull wellsies after being in my tank for a year and doing great, even growing suddenly started declining in health until they were gone. The only change to my tank at that time was the addition of 4 #3 Koralias. I don't know that the Koralias had anything to do with their demise since the wellsies were on the sandbed and the pumps were high up in the tank. At that time I also lost all of my frogspawns & torches.

I think you have done all that you can. I'm sure your water parameters are on point, you have been feeding it, they are on the sandbed. What else can you do? Perhaps you should shoot prattreef a PM.
Again, I'm very sorry!!!!!!

Duke sorry to say but it sounds like the brain is on it's way out. Could you post a newer picture? That might help out a little. If the flesh is receding that rapidly you may want to remove it to a hospital tank and see if that helps. If it goes bad in your tank it could foul the whole thing.

Duke do you have a QT/HT set up? If I were you I would move it to there and spot feed it etc.

dude if you have a coral that was in a tank from australia you need to put it into a Q T and treat with INTERCEPTOR i saw the first and last pics and it looks like many of my 100 corals that died before i got help ! you have to go to your vet and purchase this , its prescription only ,1/8pill for a 50lb dog per 20 gallons . dissolve and put in w heater and powerhead ,a small on just to get air into water . leave for 48 hrs then do a 25% water change for the next 3 days . put back into display tank ,if it comes back probably the whole system needs to be treated cause the bugs are still in your tank in some form . they will come back ,you only treated the one coral ,so all will then need treatment . no carbon at all should be in sump etc.this will kill some of your crabs and possiably snails ,so do it in Q T first ! if you need assistence e mail me @ [email protected] i will explain every thing to you , may need phone call .do it soon ,or hope it goes away .i lost thousands of dollars in corals to this but i was able to remedy it with the help of others . my corals looked just like your photos ,if its got this it will take 3-4 wks and it will be gone 100% .its just my opinion but im trying to inform you what may happen too. good luck

Duke if there is less flow in the sump put it in there with the pc lighting just put it as high as you can. Maybe the flow is too much.
