It is almost impossible to find it, if you do make sure it is the real thing.

Godservant was a great substitute for reef sand because it was not silicate based and it was cheap.

South Down was bought out by Old Castle about 5 years ago, that's why you can't find it.
Old Castle then became Yardright.

Yardright is not the same silica-free sand that South Down was.

you can go to home depo n get bahamma olite sand its dry comes in 20lb bags for about 3.00 dollars a bag .the same sand you buy in 20lb bags live at your fish store.But its not 25 a bag set ur self up.I used 2000lbs of it in my sump that was 8ftx4ft 3fth Sand bed was 1ft high an over700gal sump the tank was a 265 never had any problems at all
