Looking for an Atlantic Blue Tang
"Acanthurus coeruleus" - also known as a Caribbean Blue Tang
Cinnecticut, Westchester, or Bronx areas

Perferably already Blue or in Transition colors.

Shouldn't be a hard fish to get, pretty common carib species

I beg to differ LongIslandAndy.

I have search almost through my whole state.
They should be common and easy to get, but no one has them. :irked:
Everyone only seem to carry Hippo Tangs and an occasion Powder Blue.
Even trying to special order them, is not helping much.

Thats why I'm even trying in NY area now.

You can beg to differ, they are on the wholesalers list every week. Whenever we bring them in they sit and don't sell. It is a very skitterish fish when first introduced, and then if it acclimates it becomes very territorial. The reason you don't see them is because no-one wants them

I have orders few fish from Will.
He advertises them, and I have tried several times.
On his ordering day, he says their out of stock or just sold out.

I'd be worried about getting it in the yellow stage.
I have an ornery Yellow Tang that is over 5" in size.
That mean SOB may try to kill a yellow colored one.

I'm busy till mid to late week, but will try to contact them.

The price is good, but may be too far for me to drive.
I am in Connecticut, directly opposite of Port Jefferson.

Not sure that color is the problem...they fight with similar shaped tangs!
