skimmer

hi,
Im not sure if I understand the becket thing,
What size pump do i need to run it, is the pump included?
Thanks,
Frank
Im in oceanside...Oh , does it put a lot of mirco bubbles out into the sump?, I know that could be a problem with a becket

I replaced the hose barb nozzle with a becket valve and removed the bio balls, runs better than the bio balls and less cleaning. Pump is not included but I do have a few for sale as well.

You need a 600-900gph pressure rated pump to run this, I used a mag 18 with okay results, a GenX Mak-4 was way better. As for micro bubbles, it all depends how you place the skimmer in the sump and how much water you have in the sump. A Tupperware filled with rubble rocks placed at the exit of the skimmer helps in reducing micro bubbles.

The larger ETSS is 36" tall at the tallest point.

The ETSS 600 can be converted back to down draft. I have the hose barb injector but don't have the 12 bio balls, I think I can get some if you want it.
