there is a plumbing supply near me that carrys alot of schedule 80, bulkheads and stuff I'll check for you I need one myself

Thanks Frank. Yup I had them do the recirc mod for me, figured I'd save myself a headache and let them do it. I'm gonna do the gate valve mod myself, figure if I can get away with it for a little cheaper why not. Can't wait to hear back.

lol funny i should see this. i just got my parts for the mod on the G1x. i ordered the parts from US plastics, could have ordered double the parts for you. it was $22.22 for the elbow, tee, and valve shipped. the valve i got is huge tho, just posted in the ASM skimmer club to see if there isn't a more compact one people are using. if you need some 1.25" pvc I have like 4ft of it, so should have some leftover, kind of a hike for you but lmk

kris- i notice you had a ball valve in ur pic in the ASM skimmer club; how is that working for you so far?

Its working out pretty good so far. I got the T and the 90 degree elbow for when I get the length of PVC as well. The ball valves actually working out pretty good. I stood there in lowes trying to turn all the valves they had to find the easiest one and this one is pretty easy.

ok but with two reduces from a hardware store which are cheap it will work. but whatever,
