Thanks for the replies... I broke down and bought one of the new eshopps S-120's I got it for a good price over at aquarium village. I had a great skimmer that was working really well on my tank it was a RLSS R5-i dc skimmer but this weekend I was cleaning it and dropped the impeller assembly which broke and apparently there are no replacement parts for it even though it's only been out for about 2 years...

I got in contact with the owner of RLSS and was told he would look through hi wharehouse for an impeller but that it was old stock and he may not have it... I guess that means my skimmer is garbage ?

they make things nowadays that are designed to brake after the warranty runs out and then when you try to get replacement parts they tell you ho i have to see if i still have those you know they are obsolete it really stinks
