If you are on a budget and the space is tight, consider getting a couple of those normal LED spot lights. They gives almost 700 PAR at few inches away and they are quite water resistance.

If you have the space, get a China made blackbox LED light boxes. A used one is just about $40. A brand new one from SB is just a little over $100 and they give over 1000 PAR for the same distance.

I have all 3 of them for different purpose and they all work very well for growing macro algae.
