I think is to big, they grow that big ? How old is ?

They grow much bigger than that.

He is about 3 years old. He doesnt die HAHA survived Sandy eats just about anything you put in the tank. He is living in my sump right now.

maximum aquariums had a couple in stock, this fish max's out around 6" in length
if member jim would post pic's he has a full size male and now a smaller 4" as well

30 gallons is to small for a full grown. I would say 50 gallons is the min for a full size.
