WTB Red Sea Max 250

Looking to purchase a RSM 250. New preferably and used if complete and clean. Not looking for any livestock as I will be moving soon and taking this with me. Looking around $1000 for new and a little less for used. Always negotiable due to condition, color, and mods. If someone is looking to down size I have a RSM 130D in excellent condition also to trade. Thanks for your consideration.

If it makes a difference I have the intank media basket/tunze 9002 upgrade w/intank skimmer cup....new bulbs not even installed, new media and floss for basket and if you want the ultimate retrofit I have a ecotech radion that can be worked into the deal.

Yes you will be lucky to find one for less then $1000 used. I used to own one before I upgraded to a 120..

Yes I realize if you go buy it commercially without doing homework anywhere between $1400 - $1700 is the norm. $1800 would be exorbant and if it sold the buyer definitely didn't shop around. No, I am looking for one like the mentioned Craigslist ad. There are plenty around that people buy and realize that it's too much money or never get around to starting and want to unload. They pop up and just didn't know if anyone here had one like that. Thanks for all the input and I am second behind the brother on the $950 one in westchester, thank you.

I got one off Craig's list last month for $825, Stevie t rack included. One pump needed a vinegar bath to get going but otherwise everything working. I think you should be able to find one if you keep looking.

Possibly.....I am in the works of a deal for a 1yr old 250 with complete lifereef sump system for under $1000... Might even get partial delivery. If no one else wants to trade and this deal goes through I will give you a push.

$1k is awesome with the lifereef sump which address one of the biggest weakness of the 250 which is lack of the sump..
