Apex programming is easy...
It's like ZX Spectrum :)
What exactly you need? Calibrate probes? Do you have fluids to do this?
pH7 and pH 10? Do you have salinity probe if so the 53000 mF fluid...
Is your apex connected to your modem already? If not did you get enough wire to connect it?
Maybe lets start from this so will be easier for somebody to help you.
Where you live by the way?

Regards

Apex programming is not a computer language. That makes it sound intimidating to people that don't program. It is logic you learned in High School math. If a then b. Think of it like a light switch. It reads each command in order. For example your light setup might look like this

Fallback OFF (Says if you lose power to the APEX turn the lights off)
Set OFF (Light switch is off)
if Time 11:30 to 23:30 then ON (Is it between 11:30 am and 11:30 pm? if so turn on the light switch if not leave it off)
If Temp > 85.0 the OFF (If your temp goes over 85 degrees turn off the switch no matter the time because you are having heatr issues and do not want to add more)

It just reads those lines in order over and over to figure if the switch is on or off then sets it to that. For this reason you just have to remember to put everything in the correct order. For example if you moved the Set Off to the end your lights would never come on because the last thing you told it was turn off the switch. Read the unofficial guide it isn't hard. If you need help let me know. I don't have the wireless module and that yet but I am sure we can figure it out.

You bought that apex for way less and now selling it for 800-
Unbelievable.....
Google unofficial apex guide.

Dude it's not just the Apex, read carefully.

Full Apex System - $500
Extra pH Probe - $45
WXM - $125
PM2 - $85
Conductivity Probe - $125

That alone is $880 maybe +tax$shipping

Not to mention it's probably all brand new, I don't think he'd be ripping off anyone or making a profit selling it for $800

Oh, FYI, the unofficial Apex guide is now the official Apex guide

I understand that, but he told me what he really paid for the entire setup. I was the one who was supposed to do "all the coding stuff" and his LEDs. Just warning others that is all. So that is why I commented. Didn't have to read carefully to call someone out on their bs. Just an example so you see where I am coming from:

Awhile ago he took me to pick up a complete frogspawn colony... Huge over100+ heads. His plan was not to keep it but to chop it up and sell for $5 a head. He purchased it and assumed he can keep it in my system while I was helping him start up his 125g. Then everyday he would text/call asking me to frag heads from the frogspawn as he met with buyers for it. Sorry but I don't feel that is what this hobby is about. I told him to take the coral back and leave me alone. I know for a fact what he paid and I know for a fact how this guy works. Btw he owns/sells used cars so flipping "items" for profit is what he does for a living.

Ask anyone on here that knows me, I will always help out a fellow reefer. Once you take advantage or disrespect me I will call you out and make sure all the other good people in this hobby don't get burned.

We've met, you were over my house, I know you're a good guy. Guess I didn't know the whole situation and I'm glad you posted all the details so people really know what they're dealing with. I applaude you on doing that, not many people do that anymore, everyone tends to kinda just mind their business but in a community of this type it shouldn't be the case. I guess I was just giving him the benefit of the doubt on being a good guy I suppose, turned out I was wrong. But anyways, again, thumbs up on posting the truth. How'd that 80 work out for you? And btw, I don't know if you saw but I took your advice on the MP60s, they're one of the best things I did for my tank!
