Great Magnets..

Well I finally gave in and got an earth magnet and have to say it's the best there is... This thing is keeping coraline in check...

They are strong magnets that float.. Mines even wipes off coraline algae if I scrub a couple times... They are expensive but well worth it..

Algae Free makes them in Piranha, Great white etc. They use rare earth magnets inside and have superior holding power over any other magnet scraper - T, which one did you get? I use the piranha on mine and had it on a 180 as well. Super strong.

I got the Hammerhead and coraline comes off if I rub it 2 or 3 times.. That didn't sound right did it???lol.. I love this magnet...

You need to be careful when you use these magnets as they're very strong and you can easily break a finger if you're not careful, especially with the larger ones. Also you don't want to get one that is too strong as it can break a glass tank. So follow the recommend guidelines when purchasing one.

Yep, you right I have smashed my fingers into the stand between the magnet numerous times...... But my glass is clean,,lol.. That's what counts....I guess..
