That's what I have currently that will be on my 57 rimless. A mag 7 and 2 mp10w ES. Just curious if I will need two or if 1 would do it, but I think 2 and setting it lower will be more controlled.

I have a rimless too and was wondering do your snails ever go outside the tank? I had a nano that had a lip around the rim and some would crawl out. i figured i'd stay away from them with the new rimless setup.

Also i like how your tank turned out very nice! how did you keep algae at bay? no coralline or anything? especially on the overflow? Mine is stuck to that thing like glue.

thanks no i never seen any snails come all the way out i think once they reach the water line they realize and go back down as for the algae i just haven't gotten any on my overflow yet but on the glass i use a mag float and kent razor blade scraper works great

where did you get those fans and do you notice a difference with them?

i got them from a member on here garysreef, they work great have them on the reef keeper to come on at 80 degrees and they bring it right down to 79 in like two min my tank was getting up too 82-83 without them, you can buy them online there made by azoo

yeah my tank is 83 right now. i have the same tank and i found a few different fans but not sure if i wanted to clip them on the tank. but now seeing them in the back of the tank it does not look that bad. only thing is my fixture it hung a foot over the tank already. do they like clip and bend them to face higher up or anything, or do they only face straight? i need ones that could aim higher up
