that's a pretty deep tank, i doubt that t5 fixture is enough for most acro......perhaps ok for some digi or caps.
I don't know I have no digi or caps but I have a lot of other acros growing like purple bosnai, red planet, birds nest, and a few others with no problem. I'm not saying they will grow acros on the bottom of his tank, but I have my birds nest and 2 others about a foot deep in my tank and they have been doing very well.

birdnest and red planet don't need a lot of light....the red planet gets the nice green base with less light so the t5's are good for them. i have my purple bonsai right under 2x400w halides and 2x110 vho's and it has a nice deep purple body and glowing green polyps....don't know how it looks under t5's.

i have seen a really nice acro tank with all t5's but they were 8 x 54 overdriven.... on a 90g oceanic tech. brian's monster tank is way deeper and the rock works-- that appear suitable for mounting acro's are toward the middle and the right side-- don't come up the tank very high. but then again i am biased.....i'm a mh guy.(testing out some leds but still not happy with them just yet)

My Bonsais have awesome colors on them one is up high the other in the middle, Brians cousin has seen my tank plenty of times and he is thinking of getting T5's, Don't get me wrong this is my first T5 setup after 15 years of MH, but so far so good.

yea...they'll grow just a lot slower in comparison to MH. plus they would all have to be placed higher in the tank.
