Great tank. Are you happy with 75 gallons or do you see yourself upgrading? I have a 55 gallon fowlr and am trying to see if the 75 gallon upgrade is worth it (i feel the depth is all i'm missing) or if i'm just going to want to upgrade yet again...

I was wondering the same thing LOL I really wish they would have a standard tank that was 48" long and 24" deep and not so tall maybe 21-24 inches. I think alot of reefers in this hobby would love this size bc of the nice depth. The only other option is getting a bow tank but I think that distorts the view if you dont look head on right?

they do...48x24x24.. its an awsome sized tank and perfect for a 55,75 upgrade!!! its a 120g..when i went from the 120 to the 125 which is 6 ft long i was disapointed bc it was too narrow only 18in.. unfortunatly(fortunatly) i dropped it and it brok while getting ready to set it up.. so i went to a 220g bc iths the same legnth 6ft but is 24 deep and 30high... man i love it!!! the deeper the better, i think.. the depth to me is the most important part it gives the fish plenty of free room to swim infront of the reef and it doesnt look like a wall of rock..

btw, i love the way u layed out the rock work.. looks good..you going to the swap??

Nice looking environment you've got there.;) Love your choice of corals. Fish, well others have already stated the objection of the tangs. But I will believe that you have a plan for a much larger tank for their near future.:)

Marcellina, I don't think any LFS carry big tanks as standard.;) I believe most if not all tanks over 75 gallons have to be ordered. Just ask your lfs, and they will get a 4' 120 gallon for you. I had the 5' before the upgrade to the 155 Bow Front.;)
BTW, bow fronts don't distort the view while viewing. The distortion that I have seen is in the pix.:( Can't get a decent FTS no matter how hard I've tried, as well as others that are 1000 times better at photography then I.

So far I am happy with it, but as soon as I have space I will upgrade to 180gal:)
