more pics... and my new addition(thanks fish keeper7, oceanreef, and harif87)
and soon ill have more sps... thanks to a few of you that have helped me out..
interesting....never thought of keeping an eel in a reef tank. how much and how often do you have to feed it? what do you feed? do you need sand to keep an eel?
well tom, he is tiny so far its doing great(thanks fishkeeper) got it from him. so far when i feet my fish the concoction i make, the eel goes after the mysis... he is small abt the thickness of my pinky finger(maybe thinner) its abt 8in long.. funny tho i never see him.. there is soo many places for him to hang out.. i think he likes a place in the rear of the reef.. i dont know if you need a sandbed or not for it.. it seems to hang out in the rocks, and sometimes under my large toadstool.. i think the garden eel needs a deep sandbed.. this is a snowflake.. im sure someone will chime in.. if not post a thread.. id like to know myself.. and i know alot of people will say not reef safe.. oh well im gonna try.. lol
more pics.. getting tired of them yet? i wish i had a better cameras to do closeups..
im only using my phone for pics right now.. some new sps from bob1000 and albano.. thanks guys!
Wow Mike, you have really gotten yourself some really nice pieces!!!!!!! My very best wishes with all. Have fun with the eel. Biggest problem I find with them is their digging under the rocks. Even when the rocks are on the bottom glass they still manage to move them.arggggggggg
