Is it really bad for SPS? I havent tried no lights yet.

I have been slowly adding more tablespoons of GFO as the days go on but I feel like I might have to just replace all of it. Bottom layer of GFO has probably been there for almost a month now. Rocks are more fuzzy than usual.

They will loose a little color yes, but they should not die with 3 days of complete light.. I have done it before with no issues, but 3 days is the max I would do on an SPS tank...
cool thanks for clearing that up. but doing this is only a band-aid

Barlett's Anthia. Hes too hyper I will probably get a trio of them when I upgrade a few years from now though.

Only picture I can do for now. Need a few more weeks to get tank back to "picture" quality

Update!

Colors are finally coming back on my SPS. Really like the new bulb combo too. Im still trying to control this algae on sand and rocks (getting there). I added a magnetic shelf rock for my SPS frags to grow out.
