thanks, still looking good, seems that sand does not 'blow' off, probably because of rough surface.that is a good idea looks good!!!
Yes, Thane, the 'deeper' sand is in the back of the tank, which is their 'preferred' sleep area.Alfie looks great love that Idea. I assume you are leaving areas of sand for the wrasses ?
thanks Tom,cool idea.
i went bb 'cause i hate the bald spots on the sand from the mp40's.
that looks really nice.
what did you use to glue the sand down?
I don't think it's a problem, for 2 years, the majority of the 'real' sand bed has been less than 1/2" deep.I wonder would a wrasse got tricked by the flake sand bed and loose a tooth? LOL
I can see the wrasses are saying, Alfie fool yourself with the fake sand floor but not us :sgrin:I don't think it's a problem, for 2 years, the majority of the 'real' sand bed has been less than 1/2" deep.
so far so good with the wrasses...I can see the wrasses are saying, Alfie fool yourself with the fake sand floor but not us :sgrin:
Nice aren't they aggressive?
thanks Ken...8 line is doing great, might be nice to get a female, also!Had a chance to see him (8 line) and the amazing tank... Berry berry nice..
