Hey, are you having any issues with the tang in a tank this size? 34 seems tight for any tang.

No issues, the tang is in perfect health. I do not believe the fish is actually unhappy because of the small tank, nor do I believe the fish is actually capable of being unhappy or showing signs of depression...LOL. I do however believe that a tang will be unhappy in poor water quality or when fed a poor diet.....in ANY size tank.

Ricky pretty soon I will be fragging a lot. At the moment I am letting the tank grow out as much as possible.

Thank. No stock equipment was used other than the return pump.
I am using a deltec mce 600 skimmer, phosban reactor, 2 vortech mp10's for flow, tunze osmalator top off, reefkeeper lite controller, and a 6 bulb ATI T5 fixture. No vodka dosing, only adding b-ionic.

Rich, your 120g is demanding to be resurrected! LOL
The SPS are overflowing to the point where I used to be.

Maybe over the winter  I like having the freedom of a small low maintenance tank at the moment not to mention that I spent my upgrade budget on offshore fishing tackle :)

I think your tank looks great. Have you considered the fox face and hippo tang. Both can grow large, and the hippo can be agressive. I would think a 34 gallon is too small for these fish?

I had a baby hippo that grew to 5-6 inches. I had to take the tank down, trying to catch him and get him out of the tank. Tougher as tank becomes more established with corals. Also, my hawk fish ate my cleaner shrimp. Do you plan on having any shrimp.

Also, seems like your fish are heavy on the bio load. You may get a problem with nitrates and phosphates as the tank matures. Are you using a phosban reactor, etc.

Again, tank looks great.
