justin question for you, seeing the fish you are getting are deep water species, i understand tank temp having to be low, but arent these fish more use to low light as well ? seeing light penitration at 400 + feet isnt much , you going to run a fan across the top of tank as well to help keep chiller off more often ?

Good observation :wink1: Justin bought a 8 bulb T5 fixture from custom king to replace the halides and to better emulate their natural environment by running different types of bulbs at different times of the day but has decided to go even lower on light. He was planning on trying to keep corals with the fish but the Yellow Anthias does not like the light so he is taking all of the corals out today. The light doesn't seem to have any effect on the butterflies behavior which is interesting.
