I have finally got enough together to show some pictures. This is my first attempt at salt water. So far I am having a great time learning. A few specs

- 46g tank
- wet/dry sump - (taking bio balls out soon when I get some rubble)
- coralife 125 skimmer
- current MH 36" light
- 1 Koralia 2 & 1 Koralia 1
- 1/10hp current chiller
- 50lbs figi live rock
- overflow

I wanted to drill the tank for my finance wouldn't let me even try to attempt it. So I had to settle for using an overflow box. I picked up most of the items used from members here and such. THANKS!

I still need to put in the sand and move some stuff around. Might get a 1-2 more pieces of larger rock.

My tank is finished with its cycle and here is what it looks like so far. These are just before a water change was going in.. That is why the level is low

Here is a full tank shot with a new rock layout and sand in place. We tried to get most of the rock off the sand by using pvc. It sort of worked out

Also you'll see my RBTA waiting for food and a clown fish.. Then you'll see my clown fish hosting in a GSP rock. Go figure..

I removed the center brace and replaced it with a steel brace. I left very slight amount of slack on the brace to see if the front bowed out anymore but it hasn't yet.

I have done it before on bowfronts with no total collapse so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Just getting over a hair algae bloom. After attempts to see what the root cause was, I was finally sitting at home around 3pm and noticed sunlight was directly hitting the tank. We closed the shades fully and the algae is starting to die off and not grow back.

Here is some shots of livestock

1) Flame Angel swimming around
2) RBTA I got from a member. Doubled in size in a 5 weeks
3) Emerald crab around the RBTA.. he generally lives under it.
