Hello everyone, I just wanted to share some pics from my new tank the I just setup over the holidays. I want to take a second to thank ALL the Manhattan reef members that helped me through this process and my great fish store Wonderful World of Fish. I am lucky enough to live a block away from WWOF and Steve, Eddie and the gang are always willing to help!!

With out forums like MR I really don?t think I could of lasted in this hobby. The site is great because all the member are so helpful when I post a question up or need help with something that it makes the hobby very enjoyable!!

The first picture is of my non-drilled tank. This tank was setup all wrong ha ha. I had slates of rock in the tank thinking that it will look cool, I bought a whole bunch of rock with hair algae and thought that it would make the tank more colorful, I had 25 watt florescent lights, I had only one test kit (Ammonia), and I did not have a sump or a skimmer running,

So after a lot of suggestions from people like Jeff (Custom King), Neptune, Tim (from Astoria), Alan (Lazibones), WWOF guys and John Mahoney from Reef cleaners, I cleaned up my act and started reading as much as I can about the hobbey.

Once again I want to thank everyone that helped me through this process and I know I still have a long ways to go (Getting some Corals!!).

Very original ideas in choosing the rock with hair algae and slate!!!

Can I ask to show a pic of
ALL white on at max power
ALL blue on at mac power
and the whole light at max power

What's the power rating of the light?

Wingo No problem but as you can see I have a terrible camera so I might have Alan come by to take some shoots. Those tank shoots were also after a huge water swap so it was pretty cloudy. I will take it soon and post for yeah.

I have not had a chance to look up the power lighting of the light yet.

Sick looking tank bro. I love WWOF too and your tank is looking GREAT. I love that angel you had in the other 125. Keep up the great work. Let me know if you want shots taken I am halfway decent at photos and am at WWOF pretty often recently.

wow! looks great!...that set up looks familiar.:)

Your on the Title man!! Your work is awesome!! Its funny how it worked out, I wanted you to make me a canopy for me for so then I end up with a whole setup.

I sanded the stand and canopy, put two coats of primer then one coat of finish. It was very enjoyable working on this setup that I wanted for so long!!

awesome tank bro, i like the sump set up too, very nice.

Thanx man.

Buller designed a closed system incase the power ever went out.

The beauty of the sump is that I can control the level of flow going into the refugium on the right and the live rock chamber on the left. I am trying to run the system with out filter socks.

Will see how that goes. :D

New Custom King Auto Top off Box

Figured I would put up some pics incase someone wants to get one of these.

I had a small crappy plastic container that I had to be filled up every 2 days or so.

So I got Jeff (Custom King) to make me this cool little black Acrylic Box. I will have the RODI unit hooked straight to this box to help me further automate this 125 gallon tank.

Dimensions 18X16X16 inches
