I particularly don't find anything funny about fish needing to be removed from their tank because of a leak and having no place to put them other then buckets while I'm at work and my wife is alone at home with my 7 month old son. Please be a bit more considerate on people's opinions toward their fish when posting. I treat my fish like their my children and if something unexpected happens then I do my best to make a bad situation good.

Very soon! I have to wait for a shipment of Substrate to come in and setup a new lighting system along with more hardware. Not easy when it wasn't expected.

Yeah I feel your pain. My bros piranha tank sprung a sudden leak, it was mad chaos!! We didn't have to deal with changing it over from salt to fresh though. We did have to replace the tank and that was enough of a pita...

Jay1335, that is terrible. Someone else on the forum just sprung a leak on their 210. I don't even know how I would have handled that. Nervous breakdown first maybe.

Yeah I saw that thread, thats why recently thinking about a bigger tank ive leaned more towards aqrilyc (i know my spelling sucks) But anyways goodluck with the transfer and keep us updated. Are you going to do a planted tank? I dont remember if you can do that with discus or not....

Jay1335, Yes she had a planted before and this one will be planted as well. The Dicusss Prefer the planted since it gives them places to hide. I will keep everyone updated.

Tonyscoots84, I never stated that it was a problem to operate an RO/DI Filtration unit with the Deionization Resin Canister in a horizontal position. I just provided my observations on placing the Deionization Resin Canister in a vertical position to provide a more efficient method of exposing water to the Deionization Resin media for increased exposure. This results in better purified water as well as increased live span of Deionization Resin media. Easy Yoda! not sure where you are going, the person who is buying a sports car is probably not focusing on gas milage, like when doing a SPS tank you are using high performance lighting not necessarily the ones that give you the most bang for buck or lowest energy consumption. Performance is a specific choice, whether is be for cars or reef tanks. Besides the sports car is much cooler and nicer to drive! Hmm Ferrari or Prius....... I'll be cool with the Ferrari and my horizontal DI

:funnypost :funnypost You are way to up tight, JUST BUY A NEW TANK! Stop buying used tanks and you they wont leak I'm sure the 150 is next!~
