Aaron I always appreciate your post. Thank You.
Here are a few new additions from the swap and recent lfs visits.
Also thank you Kathy, Ming and Daceman.
Love the tank David!!! Cool pic of the clown & the huge clam
How'd you outwit the cyano? (I know the usual drill but not having much success at making it go away entirely...)
I'm about to change bulbs again..this time going to the Ushio 14 K's(bought them a while back and never put them in...), think my Iwaski's are about worn out now...might account for the cyano..who knows...
More pics please..can't get enough of your pretty tank!!
I am in the process of breaking down my tank.... No I am not leaving the hobby. Just need a small break and a fresh start.
I have decided to do this so that I can change somethings like my return pump and possibly my sump also my sandbed and make my tank a little less maintanence involved. At the moment tank maintanence involves manual dosing which to me is best and I will probably never stop, 17 gallon change a week, syphon out astrea stars and brittle stars, every once in a while remove aiptasia, majano and and in my tank taro tree coral grows like aiptasia it just shows up. Well I intend to return to the full swing of things by October.
I revere this site and many of it's members and I intend to continue to be a part of the site as much as I can. I have thought it out clearly and this is the best path to my goal. Thank You all.
As I explained in my Last post I am taking a little break and rethinking my tank layout there was no problem with the scaping I actually like it but I had a plumbing problem , I hated my sand, and I had too many starfish Nuisance growth.
Well this is the Last pic I took of my tank Fully stocked and I'm posting it as something for me to look back On.
