Been skimming rather wet to try to keep the tank clean during the initial cycle.

Here's 48 hours worth of wet skimming. This is digusting.

progress 9-7-07

Been tweaking the aquascaping. I've left a lot of open spaces for large colonies to grow in. Only a small percentage of my livestock is in the tank. it sems to be settling in nicely. A slight diatom bloom has begun. I've started running carbon, however I'm going to let the bloom run it course. Havent even bothered cleaning the glass. Also skiming wet. No water changes for a little while now. I was changing 20% every other day until now.

will work on permanently attaching some of the corals towards the end of the month.

Perhaps a few of us should get together with a few sheets of acrylic, a table saw, power drill, weldon 16, and a 12 pack to make some frag racks?

what is that fitting doing on the sand :arg:

I don't see enough algae for the LMB to eat does he eat other food?

I used to have a jawfish which inhabited that piece of pvc. He's long gone but there are a ton of zoas attached to it. Just temporarily placed it in the center until I can spend some time fragging it off the piece of pvc.

Lawnmower blenny eats mysis and pellets like a pig.
